In October 2025, Afghan women risked everything to testify about Taliban atrocities at a historic people’s tribunal, convened by the Permanent People’s Tribunal. International judges and Afghan prosecutors gathered in Madrid to hear testimony from 24 Afghan women, both inside and outside the country.
